Google-search-console

On Monday, January 8, 2018, Google’s webmaster teams began launching the beta version of Search Console for all users. The new functionality has included search performance, index coverage, with AMP status and job publication reports.

According to code discovered in the interface, “Many amazing features are expected on the way to Google Search Console”. JR Oakes, a Director of Technical SEO at Adapt Partners, revealed some surprise features by digging through Google Search Console’s JavaScript code.
The Search Engine Land author posted what he found in the code on Twitter. And, the following reports, based on his findings, may soon be added to Search Console.

Page Speed Report

A report committed to page speed looks like it is on the way to Search Console.

Obviously, the search Giant Google provides other tools to measure page speed, but that includes testing individual URLs one-by-one. Maybe this will be a report with all of a web site’s URLs as well as their consistent speed. Let’s see when the report goes live.

Child-Direct Content Report

Google Search Console, a collection of tools that helps in monitoring website performance in the Google search index, has added a report for pages that are marked as being geared toward kids. “This report is already live” According to JR Oakes.

AMP Articles

This looks pretty transparent–a report dedicated to the AMP articles performance.

Opt-Out of Google Search Sections

If you are a site owner, then you will be able to remove your page from Flights, Hotels, Shopping and Local simply using Search Console.

These are a few features SEO professionals can look forward to seeing in Google Search Console. Other new features include Expanded Support for Structured Data/Rich Cards, Google Discover Performance.
