Google Meets updates
The company is working to bring the transcript and summary to Google Meet. With this, you will be able to access the information needed for the meeting. Along with this, automated summarization will soon be rolling out for Google Chat as well, so you can easily jump to the main points of the chat. The company also improved the audio and video quality of the encounter with the help of the Starline project. Stalin Image Processing works with machine learning, which automatically improves the quality of images. Studio-quality virtual lighting has also been introduced to the competition. New updates for Google Search
Google has added features like Multisearch Near Me, Diversify Search Filter and Scene Exploration to Search. These features will prove very useful to users in everyday life. Google’s Multisearch Near Me feature lets you find things near you. It basically works when you search for a product through Google Lens. And with the updated Scene Exploration on Google Lens, you’ll be able to explore a lot. For that, you only have to pan over things with the camera. Additionally, among other privacy measures, Google has now introduced the ability to manually remove all personal information about you from Google Search. Items such as phone numbers, home addresses, IDs, and other personally identifiable information can now be removed by requesting removal.
Google Maps Immersive View Mode
Google Maps has a new view mode called Immersive View. It allows users to have a 3D view of a place and show what a place actually looks like. This new feature is device independent. Immersive View will be available first in London, New York, San Francisco and Tokyo, and will soon be rolling out to other locations.
Google Translate
Google Translate has been supported for 24 new languages, including 8 Indian languages. With the addition of these new languages, Google Translate now supports a total of 133 languages used around the world. Indigenous languages of the Americas (Quechua, Guarani and Aymara) and an English dialect (Sierra Leonean Creo) have also been added to Google Translate for the first time.
Virtual Card
Privacy was given a special place at this year’s Google Developer Conference. Google added a special feature like virtual card. The virtual card is to protect payment information when shopping online. When using autofill to enter payment details on Chrome or Android, the virtual card feature now makes you feel more secure by replacing your actual credit/debit card number with a different virtual number. Virtual cards will be issued in the United States for Visa, American Express, MasterCard and all Capital One cards.
