Instagram's Video Calling Feature We've Got All The Details

Instagram, Facebook-owned photo messaging app will soon implement “Co-watching in video calling” feature on its platform as the feature is under testing. The products can still get scrapped or may take a few months to launch.
This new video calling feature was announced in a blog post about coming changes to Instagram. The company may add this feature by the end of this quarter after testing it widely, but we don’t have any official information regarding this update for now. According to Instagram, we are going to rolling out it very soon.

Co-watching videos calling is meant to bring users together and they can enjoy clips of their favorite celebrities or wild nature. The video call switch can be found in the direct message screen, you can make a video call just after opening an active chat. Video calling feature will be available for both iOS and Android users once it goes official.

Same like WhatsApp, Instagram is working very hard to add new features. The company recently rolled out in collaboration with Giphy, GIF Stickers letting users slap background-less GIFs directly sourced from Giphy. Instagram introduced this feature in collaboration with Giphy.

Co-watching videos calling feature is still in development stages. So the company can roll out the feature anytime soon, so keep checking for it.
