When users attempt to query Meta’s AI chatbot with specific terms related to politicians, candidates, officeholders, or certain other election-related keywords, the chatbot redirects them to the official website of the Election Commission of India. While Meta has rolled out its new Llama 3-powered AI chatbot in over a dozen countries, including the United States, India was notably absent from the initial launch list.
