Twitter Is Rolling Out Its New Prototype Application Twttr

Twitter’s new prototype application “Twttr” is rolling out to certain users today. The main purpose of this application is to test upcoming Twitter features, particularly those that aim to make it “easier to read, understand or join conversations. When users tweet, they would get their first responses in grey while replies from followers would be in blue.

The “Twttr” app was first introduced at the CES conference in Jan 2019. Its prime aim to offer Twitter a more experimental testing space where they can try out new ideas/thoughts outside of its current public network and gain feedback from testers, and then develop new features, Therefore, Twitter announced by way of a tweet this afternoon.

“Most participants in the prototype program will be English or Japanese speakers,” Says Twitter. The “Twttr” app is only available for iOS users to try and review, and it remains uncertain by when would the prototype app reach Android and web users .iPhone users have to download the TestFlight app on their phone after which Twitter will send an invite from the app, and once the instructions are followed, the app “Twttr” would get installed.
